Looking for a thrill? The 2018 Steelhead Festival at Lake Sonoma Fish Hatchery is a thrill for the entire family. Whether you are young or old it is the best show in Sonoma County. Right now the streams at the hatchery are full of 24″ + Steelhead Trout.

That’s when we’ll do it all again at the fantastic Lake Sonoma Steelhead Festival, held on the grounds of the Milt Brandt Visitors Center! Rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food, wine, beer, silent auction, live music, archery, fishing, tours, demonstrations — just about anything you can imagine, and it is FREE!.

These fish have traveled around the world and have come home to ave children right here in Sonoma County. The Don Clausen Fish Hatchery is located directly behind the visitor center.
A state of the art facility, it was built to replace and enhance salmon and steelhead spawning grounds. The hatchery is operated by the California Department of Fish and Game.
