Celebrating Ten Years in Real Estate Sales
I am celebrating my tenth year in real estate this year and what a ten years that has been. The past ten years have provided an experience that was pretty amazing. Short sales, foreclosures, no loans available, it was really something. All of those years of hard work and perseverance were well worth it. I made it and I did it on my own. I am damn proud of it.
In 2014 I proved that I have superior marketing skills in this business. The results prove that an agile, technically superior individual Realtor can outperform the biggest corporate competitors.
The cute little 1899 Queen Anne at 465 Healdsburg Avenue had been on the market for three years with Sotheby’s and apparently a sign in the front yard is just not enough. My marketing arsenal had that listing around the planet within two weeks of taking it over and I buyers every week. It was tough because the property had languished on the market for so long. I had it sold at a good price and the sellers love me.
7800 Castelli Lane, Dr. Baldwin’ 320 acre ranch in Alexander Valley was on the market for two years then their Realtor moved to Vanguard Realty where it received no exposure. The sellers did not want to dump their Realtor but knew I had the better marketing program. I had it sold within three months of their call for help.
In the area of Healdsburg call “The Birds” in Healdsburg I sold half the homes there in 2014. Three just gave up in the end. I crushed that area with my internet presence.
I sold two homes in “The Greens” off market which was half the homes there.
I love the challenge of going up against these big companies with big budgets. The best compliment I received last year was from a competitor who had their clients just give up and took their home off the market because I was getting all the traffic in that neighborhood. “Bob, it was like being pecked to death by a duck. You just didn’t stop”
