Healdsburg Kiwanis Family Safety Fair
On Saturday September 23rd, The Healdsburg Kiwanis Club will host a Family Safety Fair. Bring your bikes and be ready for fun and a few challenges.
There will be a Bicycle Skills Rodeo, free bike helmet give away, child car seats and installation, Smokey the Bear, virtual reality distracted driving demonstration (a must see), free taco lunch, Sonoma County Bookmobile, bike raffle, Spoke Folk Cyclery will be doing safety checks and small repairs and much more.
Thank you to AT&T, Healdsburg Kiwanis and PG&E for sponsoring this event with participation by the American Red Cross, CHP, Healdsburg Fire Department, Cal Fire, Operation Life Saver, Sonoma County Bike Coalition, Healdsburg Police, Sonoma County Bookmobile, Save Lives Sonoma County, Spoke Folk Cyclery and our generous food providers.
Kiwanis supports “The Youth of the World” and its families. The event is being coordinated by former Healdsburg Fire Chief and current Kiwanis President Randy Collins. Randy has been a great friend to our community and this is a project that has been his dream, let’s make it a great one!
The event will take place at the Healdsburg Community Center at 1557 Healdsburg Avenue from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. It is a Free Community Event and more information can be found at www.HealdsburgKiwanis.org
