Healdsburg Guide
The charming and historic town of Healdsburg lies between Fitch Mountain and the Russian River valley. It is the hub of other great valleys like, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and is at the gateway to the Redwoods. It is surrounded by world class wineries. Its traditional Spanish-style historic plaza is full of great shops, winery tasting rooms and restaurants.
The natural beauty of this area is an inspiration to all those that visit here. Healdsburg has become a world class year around get away with something for everyone. Great lodging, camping, wineries, huge lakes, restaurants, some of the worlds largest tree’s and even an old speak easy casino from the roaring 20’s that is now our convention center. While writing this my neighbor has stopped by with a thirty inch steelhead trout that he just caught in the Russian River.
For locals the town is a dream come true. We have great schools, plenty of kid’s social activities and lots to do for the adults also. Healdsburg truly does have a sense of community.
