Healdsburg usually sees this much snow every 3 years or so. A lot of folks grab their sleds and discs and head up to the Geysers or Pine Flats just east of town. It never fails that a truckload or two make it to the High School for their big snowball fight. We see some periods where the thermometer stays at freezing but most of the time our winters are in the mid fortys. This is as much snow as we ever see and it does not last long.
